Les Hart (Joseph Leslie Hart) was born on March 7, 1908 in Yonkers, New York. After going to high school at Gorton (Yonkers, NY), Hart attended Colgate University. Hart made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Staten Island Stapletons for his entire 1 year career.
