Les Dye (Lester H. Dye) was born on July 15, 1916 in Forestville, New York. Dye attended Syracuse University. Dye made his professional debut in the NFL in 1944 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1944 was Les Dye's best year.
