Les Dodson (James Leslie Dodson) was born on April 18, 1916 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at Lee (Columbus, MS), Dodson attended the University of Mississippi. Dodson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
