Born on January 13, 1948 in San Luis Obispo, California, Les Cain (Leslie Cain) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 4 year career. Cain broke into the bigs on April 28, 1968 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 3.84 ERA in 180.2 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Les Cain's best season was 1970, when he posted a 3.84 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 156 batters.
