Leroy Thompson (Ulys Leroy Thompson) was born on February 3, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Austin-East (Knoxville, TN), Thompson attended Pennsylvania State University. Thompson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1994 was Leroy Thompson's best year, as he hauled in 65 receptions and caught 5 TD passes.
