Leroy Moore (LeRoy Franklin Moore) was born on September 16, 1935 in Pontiac, Michigan. After going to high school at Central (Pontiac, MI), Moore attended Fort Valley State University. Moore made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos and Boston Patriots over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Leroy Moore's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
