Leonard Russell (Leonard James Russell) was born on November 17, 1969 in Long Beach, California. After going to high school at Polytechnic (Long Beach, CA), Russell attended Arizona State University and Mount San Antonio College. Russell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos and St. Louis Rams over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1993 was Leonard Russell's best year, as he ran for 1088 yards and ran in 7 TDs.
