Leonard Coleman (Leonard David Coleman) was born on January 30, 1962 in Boynton Beach, Florida. After going to high school at Lake Worth (FL), Coleman attended Vanderbilt Universtiy. Coleman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Indianapolis Colts. He played for the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Leonard Coleman's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
