Leon Pettit

Born on June 23, 1902 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, Leon Pettit (Leon Arthur Pettit) played for the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 2 year career. Pettit broke into the bigs on April 18, 1935 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 4.95 ERA in 109 innings pitched in 1935, his rookie year.
