Leon Mclaughlin (Leon Clifford McLaughlin) was born on May 30, 1925 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at Santa Monica (CA), Mclaughlin attended the University of California - Los Angeles. Mclaughlin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1952 was Leon Mclaughlin's best year.
