Leon Heath (Herman Leon Heath) was born on October 27, 1928 in Hollis, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Hollis (OK), Heath attended the University of Oklahoma. Heath made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1952 was Leon Heath's best year.
