Leon Campbell (Leon Campbell) was born on July 1, 1927 in Bauxite, Arkansas. After going to high school at Bauxite (AR), Campbell attended the University of Arkansas. Campbell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1953 was Leon Campbell's best year, as he had 455 kick return yards.
