Leon Brinkopf (Leon Clarence Brinkopf) was born on October 20, 1926 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1952 for the Chicago Cubs. Brinkopf played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 1 year career.
