Born on August 14, 1983 in Jamao Norte, Espaillat (Dominican Republic), Leo Nunez (Leonel Nunez) played for the Kansas City Royals for his entire 2 year career. Nunez broke into the bigs on May 9, 2005 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 7.55 ERA in 53.2 innings pitched in 2005, his rookie year.
