Len Frketich (Leonard Lawrence Frketich) was born on November 18, 1917 in Monessen, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Monessen (PA), Frketich attended Pennsylvania State University. Frketich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
