Len Eshmont (Leonard C. Eshmont) was born on August 26, 1917 in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Mount Carmel (Easton, PA), Eshmont attended Fordham University. Eshmont made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Giants the entire time. Eshmont also played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the San Francisco 49ers the entire time.

Most people believe that 1946 was Len Eshmont's best year, as he ran in 6 TDs.
