Len Akin (Leonard Rosser Akin) was born on April 8, 1916 in McKinney, Texas. After going to high school at Woodrow Wilson (Dallas, TX), Akin attended Baylor University. Akin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
