After a three-year "retirement", Pittsburgh Penguins megastar Mario Lemieux returned to the ice on December 27, 2000, picking up exactly where he had left off. The Penguins, under Super Mario's leadership, made it to the Conference Finals, losing to the New Jersey Devils 4 games to 1. Lemieux lead the team with 17 playoff points; 6 goals and 11 assists.
