Leland Glass (Leland Strother Glass) was born on November 5, 1950 in Sacramento, California. After going to high school at Sacramento (CA), Glass attended the University of Oregon. Glass made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Leland Glass's best year.
