Born on August 12, 1921 in Evansville, Indiana, Lefty Wallace (James Harold Wallace) played for the Boston Braves for his entire 3 year career. Wallace broke into the bigs on May 5, 1942 with the Boston Braves, and put up a 4.18 ERA in 75.1 innings pitched in 1946, his rookie year.
