Lee Walls (Ray Lee Walls) was born on January 6, 1933 in San Diego, California. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1952 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1956, his rookie year, he hit .274 with 11 home runs and 54 RBI. Walls played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Lee Walls's best season was 1958, when he slugged 24 home runs, hit for a .304 average and knocked in 72 runs.
