Born on October 27, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, Lee Stange (Albert Lee Stange) played for the Minnesota Twins, Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 10 year career. Stange broke into the bigs on April 15, 1961 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 4.45 ERA in 95 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Lee Stange's best season was 1963, when he posted a 2.62 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 100 batters.
