Lee Murchison (Ola Lee Murchison) was born on April 16, 1938 in , AR. After going to high school at Placer (Auburn, CA) and Washington (CA), Murchison attended the University of Pacific. Murchison made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 1 year career.
