Lee Handley (Lee Elmer Handley) was born on July 13, 1913 in Clarion, Iowa. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1936 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1937, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 3 home runs and 37 RBI. Handley played for the Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Lee Handley's best season was 1938, when he knocked in 51 runs.
