Lee Gross (Lee Monroe Gross, III) was born on July 29, 1953 in Montgomery, Alabama. After going to high school at Robert E. Lee (Montgomery, AL), Gross attended Auburn University. Gross made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was Lee Gross's best year.
