Remember the article I wrote about Lebron James not being anywhere close to Michael Jordan, and he will need a bigger supporting cast in order to win the finals anytime soon? Well, I guess I should probably rethink that article. After going down 2 games to nothing in the Eastern Conference Finals, Lebron turned the Cavs around and won 4 straight. In game 4 he had 25 points with 11 assists, that game tied the 7 game series at 2 a piece. Then in game 5 at Detroit, he broke out with career playoff game high, 48 points, he was the most clutch I have ever seen him, and he was 10-14 in free throws. It is so much easier to play basketball when your ahead, so that probably helped him out in game 6, when he had 20 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, and 14-19 in free throws. But in game 6 he had a lot more help from his teammates, as they won by a landslide (98-82).
Lebron definitely carried his team on his back, it would be unbelieveable if the Cavs beat the Spurs, and won the finals. Now I would have to say that he may be MJ, IF he wins the finals, just because MJ won with Scottie Pippen, and Lebron had none, well he did have 4 other guys, but none of them were anywhere near Scottie Pippen's talent. It would be the best story, so far, in 2007, if Lebron carried the Cavs to a championship, especially against the spurs.
