Laymon Lamb (Laymon Raymond Lamb) was born on March 17, 1895 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 1920 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1921, his rookie year, he hit .254 with 1 home run and 17 RBI. Lamb played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 2 year career.
