Lawrence Ricks (Lawrence Tallmagde Ricks) was born on June 4, 1961 in Barberton, Ohio. After going to high school at Barberton (OH), Ricks attended the University of Michigan. Ricks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Lawrence Ricks's best year.
