Lawrence Dawsey (Lawrence L. Dawsey) was born on November 16, 1967 in Dothan, Alabama. After going to high school at Northview (Dothan, AL), Dawsey attended Florida State University. Dawsey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints and New York Giants over the course of his 7 year career.
