Laverne Torczon (LaVerne Joseph Torczon) was born on January 1, 1936 in Columbus, Nebraska. Torczon attended the University of Nebraska. Torczon made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and New York Titans over the course of his 7 year career.
