Last Post For Few Days
This will be last post for a few days because my wife was in a terrible traffic accident in which she received a broken foot and a bowed arm similar to a broken arm and is unable to walk unassisted so am not posting for the next few days till she is feeling better. When I arrived at the accident scene saw my wife in extreme pain with a neck brace on. Our car was totaled but more importantly my wife was spared even worse injuries. Today's post will be extremely short due to the circumstances.
Red Sox Outscore White Sox 35-6
The Boston Red Sox outscored the Chicago White Sox 35-6 in the last two days which encompassed three games. The win Saturday kept the Red Sox 6 1/2 games ahead of the Yankees who won their game with the Detroit Tigers by a 7-2 score with Chien-Ming Wang (15-6) pitching eight inning while allowing one run to take the win....The Cleveland Indians took advantage of the Detroit Tigers loss as they won 9-4 over the Kansas City Royals.
The New York Mets extended their lead over the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves to seven games with their 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers....The Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers lost in the NL Central enabling the St. Louis Cardinals to move within 3 games of the first place Cubs and are one and a half games ahead of the second place Brewers.
