Larry Swider

Larry Swider (Lawrence John Swider) was born on February 1, 1955 in Limestone, Maine. After going to high school at DuBois (PA), Swider attended the University of Pittsburgh. Swider made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Lions over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Larry Swider's best year, as he had a 40 yard punt average.
