Larry Ryans (Larry Bernard Ryans) was born on July 28, 1971 in Greenwood, South Carolina. After going to high school at Greenwood (SC), Ryans attended Clemson University. Ryans made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Detroit Lions. He spent two years there and then went to the new expansion team Charlotte Panthers in 1995. He spent 1996 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He then went on to play two years with thge Rhein Fire of the now defunct NFL Europe. He finished his career with the LA Extreme of the short lived XFL.
