Larry Rentz (Ralph Larry Rentz) was born on August 1, 1947 in Miami, Florida. After going to high school at Coral Gables (FL), Rentz attended the University of Florida. Rentz made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
