Larry Onesti (Lawrence Joseph Onesti) was born on November 12, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Assumption (Windsor, Ont.), Onesti attended Northwestern University. Onesti made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 4 year career.
