Larry Lauer (Lawrence Gene Lauer) was born on August 27, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at New Trier Township (IL), Lauer attended the University of Alabama. Lauer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1957 was Larry Lauer's best year.
