Larry Hayes (Larry Gene Hayes) was born on July 21, 1935 in Nashville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, TN), Hayes attended Vanderbilt Universtiy. Hayes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the New York Giants. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Larry Hayes's best year.
