Larry Coutre (Lawrence Edward Coutre) was born on April 11, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at St. George (Chicago, IL), Coutre attended the University of Notre Dame. Coutre made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1950 was Larry Coutre's best year.
