Born on November 10, 1953 in Everett, Washington, Larry Christenson (Larry Richard Christenson) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 11 year career. Christenson broke into the bigs on April 13, 1973 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 3.67 ERA in 171.2 innings pitched in 1975, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Larry Christenson's best season was 1977, when he posted a 4.06 ERA, won 19 games and struck out 118 batters.
