Larry Brown (Larry Leslie Brown) was born on March 1, 1940 in Shinnston, West Virginia. He made his Major League debut on July 6, 1963 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .255 with 5 home runs and 18 RBI. Brown played for the Cleveland Indians, Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers over the course of his 12 year career.
