Larry Brooks (Lawrence Lee Brooks, Sr.) was born on June 10, 1950 in Prince George, Virginia. After going to high school at S.S. (Prince George, VA), Brooks attended Virginia State University. Brooks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Larry Brooks's best year.
