Lance Richbourg

Lance Richbourg (Lance Clayton Richbourg) was born on December 18, 1897 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He made his Major League debut on July 4, 1921 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1927, his rookie year, he hit .309 with 2 home runs and 34 RBI. Richbourg played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Senators, Boston Braves and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that Lance Richbourg's best season was 1928, when he hit for a .337 average and knocked in 52 runs.
