Lance Parrish (Lance Michael Parrish) was born on June 15, 1956 in Clairton, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 5, 1977 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1978, his rookie year, he hit .219 with 14 home runs and 41 RBI. Parrish played for the Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, California Angels, Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 19 year career.

Most people believe that Lance Parrish's best season was 1983, when he slugged 27 home runs and knocked in 114 runs.
