Lance Niekro (Lance Joseph Niekro) was born on January 29, 1979 in Winter Haven, Florida. He made his Major League debut on September 5, 2003 for the San Francisco Giants. In 2005, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 12 home runs and 46 RBI. Niekro played for the San Francisco Giants for his entire 3 year career.
