Lance McCullers

Born on March 8, 1964 in Tampa, Florida, Lance McCullers (Lance Graye McCullers) played for the San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers over the course of his 7 year career. McCullers broke into the bigs on August 12, 1985 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 2.78 ERA in 136 innings pitched in 1986, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Lance McCullers's best season was 1987, when he posted a 3.72 ERA, notched 16 saves and struck out 126 batters.
