Lance Johnson (Kenneth Lance Johnson) was born on July 6, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on July 10, 1987 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .300 with 0 home runs and 16 RBI. Johnson played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox, New York Mets, Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that Lance Johnson's best season was 1996, when he stole 50 bases, hit for a .333 average and knocked in 69 runs.
