Lamar Mcgriggs (Lamar McGriggs) was born on May 9, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Thornton Township (Harvey, IL), Mcgriggs attended Ellsworth CC, Oklahoma State University and Western Illinois University. Mcgriggs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the New York Giants. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1993 was Lamar Mcgriggs's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
