Lady Monarchs Ready for a Fight

For the Old Dominion University Lady Monarch Basketball Team winning is nothing new. Winning a majority of their games and winning the CAA Tourney 16 times in a row and hopefully looking for 17 times this year (if Wendy Larry has anything to do with it). I love watching and covering our womens team more than the mens team because I believe the action is much more intense. The Lady Monarchs coming off of a CAA tourney win and an excellent NCAA tourney finish is looking to go all the way once again. The Lady Monarch team this year will be led by T.J. Jordan who scored 100 three point baskets last year and Jumpin'Jazz Flash (Jazzmin Walters), Big T Green, and the up in coming sensation Jessica Canady. I am not going to say that the Lady Monarchs are set for another CAA championship but with big names on their pre-conference schedule I do speculate that they will have a good chance of getting back into the NCAA tourney. I look for the Lady Monarch squad to be very strong this up coming season and there is a lot of buzz around campus that it will be a great season.
