Is it safe to say that LaDainian Tomlinson is having one of the most dominant fantasy streaks in recent memory? The dude is a machine:
week 6 - 71yds rush/64yds rec, 4TDs
week 7 - 66/72, 2TDs (1 passing)
week 8 - 183/57, 3TDs
week 9 - 172/20, 3TDs
week 10- 104/54, 4TDs
I don't have data, but perhaps Marshall Faulk is the only other fantasy player who can match these types of numbers. Daunte Culpepper's first few games two years ago may qualify too.
In my format, LT's averaging 37 fantasy points per contest, with 3.4 TDs a game. He went up against some of the lesser rushing Ds in the NFL, but regardless the numbers don't lie. With an inexperienced albeit rapidly progressing Rivers at the helm and the absence of any All-Pro receivers except for Gates, the offense moves through #21. We'll see how he does against Denver twice over the balance of the season, but if he continues to put up numbers like this he'll be on pace for 2300 total yards and right around 30 TDs. Phenomenal numbers, not to mention the great feeling you get when you see the look of horror on your opponents' faces when they find out they go up against LT that week.
Anyways, LT in the White House 2008.
