L.J. Shelton (Lonnie Jewel Shelton) was born on March 21, 1976 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. After going to high school at Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI), Shelton attended Eastern Michigan University. Shelton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the Arizona Cardinals. He has played for the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 8 year career.
